This collection of hand built, wheel thrown ceramic forms was fired in atmospheric environments. The wood fired pieces are fired in a large Anagama kiln for 110 hours at temperatures maintained above 2200 degrees. The Wood / Soda fired pieces were fired in my home kiln, a modified gas fired kiln with wood stoked at Cone 1 and soda injected at cone 8. Wood / soda pieces are taken to about 2300 degrees. All pieces are created using multiple techniques, wheel throwing, slab building, pressed, rolled or carved in textures with some hand drawing to enhance. Much of the firing process is documented on the linked Facebook page below. Many of these are available for purchase in my shop on this site. If they are not shown, contact me to see if they are available.
