Early piece in my wood firing journey, 2010, representing care giving when I was in the middle of those years with my mother in Alzheimers care. The main form represents a figure, a care giver and in the petal formed handle there now is a beautiful tea bowl as shown in the later photographs instead of the teapot that was broken early on by a gallery. I actually love the teabowl more in it because it has the same strength as the main form.The tea bowl holds the tea that gives solace to the figure form it rises above. Wood fired large scale big presence. 29” tall including the tea bowl. 17” wide and 10” deep.
